Uniform Dress Code - revised for the 2008-2009 school year
The dress code for students in
levels 1 through 8 at St. Elizabeth Elementary School is the school uniform worn properly at all times. If
for any reason this is impossible, a note from the parents is required.
Choices have been minimized for a consistent appearance in our dress code.
Only items in the French Toast Catalog may be worn.

The attire for Preschool
and Kindergarten children is neat casual wear with socks and tennis
shoes.
BOYS UNIFORM
Pants:
Navy
Shorts:
Navy (May be worn August thru
October 31 and April 1 to end of school year)
Polo/dress
shirt, LS/SS: White, Lt. Blue
Sweater/Sweater
Vest: Burgundy, Navy, Grey
Gray
school sweatshirt with burgundy St. Elizabeth emblem is the only
sweatshirt permitted.
Belt:
Black or brown (Grades 5-8)
Shoes:
Dark, flat school shoes with no logo.
Boots just above the ankle during winter months.
Socks:
Navy, white, black solid; crew
Tie:
worn on Monday, All School Liturgy days and special occasions
Hair:
clean/neat/traditional style, natural color, trimmed above the
shirt collar
Jewelry
must be kept to a minimum.
Boys may not wear earrings.
GIRLS UNIFORM
Burgundy plaid jumper (Grades 1
thru 4)
Burgundy plaid skirt (Grades 5
thru 8)
Skort: Navy, burgundy plaid
Scooter: Navy
Pants: Navy

with no logo; boots permitted in winter months
Hair:
clean, neat, traditional style; natural color; beads, clips,
ribbons and other hair decorations must be kept to a minimum
No
make-up, nail polish, artificial nails of any kind.
No
cosmetics may be brought to school (make-up, lotions, perfumes, hair
spray, tinted lip gloss, etc.)
Jewelry
must be kept to a minimum. Girls
may wear no more than one pair of earrings no larger than a quarter.
Violations will warrant immediate notification of parents to correct
infraction and earn one demerit on the All School Code of Behavior. Three
demerits will warrant one detention.
