7.0 Parent/Volunteer Information

St. Elizabeth Elementary School exists and remains strong because of the commitment of our parents to their children and to Catholic education. Without them and the countless volunteers who assist at the school, our students' lives would be the poorer. Below is additional information to assist our parents and volunteers.

7.1 Tuition and Fees

  • Tuition for the upcoming school year is determined and announced in the spring.
  • A deduction of $25.00 may be taken on the total amount due if the tuition is paid in full by September 30th. This also exempts you from making payments through Tuition Management Systems and the annual service fee.
  • All families no paying in full will make tuition payments to Tuition Management Systems. Explanation of payment options is available on Tuition Management Enrollment form.
  • A playground fee of $25 is due in September from each family with a child(ren) in grades K(full day)-8. This fee is used to maintain playground equipment and provide for safe monitoring of activity by our Playground Monitors.
  • Each student (Grades 2-8) is issued an Assignment Book at the beginning of the year. Grade 1 students begin to use the Assignment Book in January. The cost is $3.00 per student.
  • Diocesan aid is available through the Bishop's Fund and Student Opportunity Scholarships. The Private School Aid Service (PSAS) application is used. Applications are due by March 15 and are available in the school office in January.
  • St. Elizabeth Parish has limited aid available to parishioners who are experiencing financial difficulty and have applied for Diocesan aid.

7.2 Visitors

Parents are welcome in the school as volunteers at any time. However, NO parent may go directly to a classroom, speak with a teacher, or see a child without making his/her presence known by stopping at the office. Persons without a visitor's pass, issued by the office, will be asked to report to the office or leave the building. The hours between 8:10 AM and 3:00 PM belong to the children and the teachers. The school day may not be interrupted.

7.3 Volunteers

The partnership of parents and volunteers with the school is one of the greatest life-lessons presented to our students. Please consider adding your time and/or talent to making our program stronger. The possibilities are endless: Parent Teacher Organization, classroom helper, fund raising assistant, coach, playground/cafeteria monitor, field trip chaperone, ... Our school is better because of you!
